It doesn’t really look like what you see when you google infected tattoos(HALLELUJAH!) But that is because I have healed so many tattoos, I know when something isn’t right so I caught this very, very early. For those who were curious, my symptoms were excessive swelling around the area(my thigh is about 1/3 larger than normal), excessive tenderness, far spread redness around the tattoo, heat radiating from the wounds, tiny blisters around(and then on) the tattoo. How It happened, I have no idea. As I said before, I have healed many tattoos successfully using the wet method, always sterilizing my wraps before putting them on, washing and changing my wraps frequently, and following all the same precautions I have always used. I went to the ER yesterday morning and they diagnosed me with cellulitis and wrote me two scripts for some serious antibiotics.
