Espiral del quemador estufa por Alireza Alavi y Yanko Design. The Heat Coil Knows Best The Spiral Burner is quite a nifty design that reminds me of mosquito coils that we get here in India! The plot behind this design to have a burner that saves fuel when using small utensils, conversely increase fuel efficiency when using big pots. The knobs are simple and the burner boasts clean lines, I think I’m already in love with it! Oh my! Designer: Alireza Alavi.
Cómo hacer que los esqueletos de la hoja - La Sala de la Idea. I wanted to share with you a project from one of my readers who shares with us how to make leaf skeletons. I LOVE this! I have several leafs in various forms displayed in my home and knew I needed to make some of her leaf skeletons to add to my decor. I love how a pattern of leaves can enhance the beauty in your home. So I asked Heather if she would mind sharing her project with you. I have spent hours and tried various ways of making these. You need washing soda, not baking soda! Gather your leaves. Washing soda is a strong base so you may want to wear gloves when handling the leaves. You will add 3/4 cup of washing soda and 4 cups of water to your pot of leaves. Keep going, you will need to add more water so your pan doesn’t dry out. When 1.75 hours are up fill a glass baking dish with cool water.
I carefully removed them and rinsed with water and added clean water to the pan. If you’re still with me, this is what I ended up with… I have a maple leaf which turned out not so well. World’s first compact semi-submarine Ego - Seoul Colors. Claimed as the world’s first compact semi-submarine, Ego is an interesting vehicle in which the users can enjoy both boating and underwater exploring at the same time. Ego developed by Raonhaje from Korea is an electrically powered vehicle that has an underwater observation compartment surrounded with 20mm acrylic glass.
The semi-submarine can run for approx. 8 hours with a maximum speed of 4.9 knots and while it is currently a 2-seat model, a 4-seat family version is under development. Speed obviously isn’t Ego’s selling point and Raonhaje says that its application is mainly for attracting tourists at marine resorts, underwater researching, and casual personal yachting. The price is not yet announced but it is expected that Ego will be commercially on sale around October 2011.

If you are a fan of 35mm analog cameras, you’ll love this digital back concept by Hyun Jin Park in which the design fits perfectly inside the film holder of a 35mm analog camera. While “Digital camera back” that allows analog cameras to function as digital camera is common for medium format cameras, I’m sure many photo enthusiasts and professionals would love something like this for 35mm films as well. Of course, an alternative would be to buy a new digital camera but with a wide range of manual lenses that only works exclusively with certain analog cameras, it’s certain that that there will be demands for this sort of device. via Yanko. :::::: carnovsky :::::: RGB Color est e pluribus unus RGB is a work about the exploration of the “surface’s deepness”. RGB designs create surfaces that mutate and interact with different chromatic stimulus. Carnovsky's RGB is an ongoing project that experiments with the interaction between printed and light colours. The resulting images are unexpected and disorienting. In his book, The Lean Startup, Eric Ries puts forth a entrepreneur’s playbook inspired by the Japanese lean manufacturing model: Start small with a 'minimum viable product,' gauge customers’ reactions regularly and often, make improvements efficiently, and eventually scale up to a profitable business.
The following is an excerpt from the book--Ed. To accelerate, lean startups need a process that provides a natural feedback loop. When you’re going too fast, you cause more problems. Adaptive processes force you to slow down and invest in preventing the kinds of problems that are currently wasting time. As those preventive efforts pay off, you naturally speed up again. Let’s return to the question of having a training program for new employees. Without a program, new employees will make mistakes while in their learning curve that will require assistance and intervention from other team members, slowing everyone down. At the root of every seemingly technical problem is a human problem. 1. Neonflames. Los robots de la guerra | Ghost Recon: Future Soldier.
