The sun is shinning (this pretty much could remind you of a Bob Marley's song if we weren't in London of course) as i'm trying to finish packing for my next trip to New York at the end the week (which will be eclipsed by my birthday celebrations too!) but before jetting off I wanted to share today's look. I've chosen what I'd call the "triple blue" , that's when you use 3 different shades of the same colour using layers of fabrics. I've combined a denim shirt by TopShop and a vintage jumper from Paris , mixed with a pair of fashionable Fairlegg jeans from Diesel . You can watch the WHOLE LOOK HERE which belongs to the looks I've created for my latest collaboration with Diesel as I'm currently starring as part of their latest Fit-Your-Attitude campaign . To add a balance I simply added a leather clutch ( Linea U ) and some crystal jewellery from Magda T .
I'm an Australian born, UK based handmade accessories designer with a penchant for statement pieces incorporating unexpected combinations of materials and techniques. My path to designing and creating jewellery wasn't exactly straightforward. I started out writing and styling for national newspapers in Australia, India and Japan before landing in London where I created content for fashion websites and studied footwear design at Cordwainers. A brief maternity leave induced hiatus helped me finally find my true calling as an accessories and jewellery designer and my initial collections of limited edition pieces were worn by internet lumineries like Susie Bubble, Tavi and Madmoiselle Robot. My most recent collection, Tissage is inspired by the woven pieces of artist, Louise Bourgeois, childhood dreams and tropical climes.
