Photo "No Reflection" courtesy of Kat in a Hat Photography and Alexandria Web The most common question asked here at Forever in Black is "How do I wear that? ". We'd love to be able to help everyone who asked that question, so this page will be our style blog, featuring different ways to wear your corset. Today we'll look at getting a saloon girl look.
This can also double as a burlesque look. Alexandria wears a black pintucked camisole, long bloomers, a two part bustle, and a Memento Mori corset, all made by Forever in Black. The 'Momento Mori' corset has the advantage of not having a busk to catch the buttons on the camisole, but it is a little trickier to put on than a corset with a busk. " types of arguments that we all know and hate (amusingly the person who does that will also likely be the one to mention that The Sisters of Mercy are obviously the epitome of gothdom, despite Andrew Elderitch's protests over the years).
Thus, my bands (in no particular order): Placebo The Sisters of Mercy The March Violets Siouxsie and the Banshees Patrick Wolf Combichrist Faderhead Malice Mizer O Children Aural Vampire.
