Digital Air - Virtual Camera Movement Techniques - Frozen Moment, Time Slice - Camera Array Visual Effect Production Service. To record a frozen moment, or "time slice" effect shot, we trigger all of the cameras in our systems simultaneously. This results in a number of images of the subject from a number of different points of view - all taken at the exact same moment in time. These individual images are then sequenced and digitally stabilized to make a smooth motion picture of a moment frozen in time, or in super slow motion (bullet time). That's not all that our systems can do, however. The frozen moment (time slice) and slow motion (bullet time effect) are just dramatic examples of the power of Digital Air's camera array systems over the relationships between space, time and camera movement in motion pictures.
