Silly Solfege Song

http://artsongcentral.com/2011/silly-solfege-song/ I have had the interesting challenge of teaching Sophomore level eartraining this year, and have been making series of videos for my students to help them in sightsinging and harmonic and melodic dictation. Most of them are pretty dry, but I did write a song (really more appropriate for beginners) that uses solfege as it’s source for both plot and melody, as well as a song to help students identify French and German augmented 6 chords and the Neapolitan 6 chord. I was asked for a printable version of the former, so I’ve created a lead sheet for it: Silly Solfege Song (in F Major, obviously using movable do.) The video below is in C Major, which works for both movable and fixed do.
