Spiritual Leader When I was growing up in Michigan my Father, Fred Kendall, was a Unity student and employed by Unity Temple as a singer for 19 years.
He always had such a clear heart and positive outlook on life. After spending my 20's and 30's trying to find that clear heart and positive outlook in the physical world with little success, I came across - quite magically - Alan Cohen's book, "The Dragon Doesn't Live Here Anymore", and everything changed. Alan refers to Eric Butterworth in his book. Eric was with the Detroit Unity Temple when I was a girl and he was a dear friend and wonderful teacher to my Dad. Suddenly the mystery of how my Father was so happy and present and free came rushing back to me. That is when, in 1988, I let my fingers do the walking in the yellow pages and found Unity of Fort Collins. Over these years I have done all of the jobs (with the exception of making music) that are part of creating and holding the space for this spiritual home.
