Games. "Fallout: Nuka Break" Season 2 by Wayside Creations. My name is Zack Finfrock and I'm an actor/filmmaker/videogamer. Last year, I released the first season of a webseries, which was co-written by Brian Clevinger, entitled "Fallout: Nuka Break" that was completely funded by fans. If you haven't heard of it or seen it yet, please take the time to watch it here. We received amazing feedback from our audience and our fans, and we'd love to shoot the next season.
We can do this with your help! We'd like to raise $60,000 for the production of the second season of "Fallout: Nuka Break. " If you'd like to see this become a reality as much as we do, but can't donate (or already have), please feel free to share this with everyone you know! Thank you! Fallout: Nuka Break is a unofficial fan film and series made by Fallout fans. Creating Origami: A Foldable Sonata in Paper by JC Nolan. 1) Just what is this Kickstarter thing? Kickstarter is amazing, It’s like the National Foundation for the Arts except the patrons get to choose who they support.
No more listening to the same song for 6 months in a row, it’s a way to let the crowd have a say in what they want produced… and in this case I’m focusing on trying to really show what’s possible and set an example, blaze a trial etc., so that others can follow. 2) I’d like to contribute, but setting up ANOTHER account is such a pain… I totally get it… but kickstarter got this one right… It’s all handled through amazon.com and you don’t need any new account. All you have to do is click on the big, green “BACK THIS PROJECT” button on the right enter your pledge. It’s totally easy… and once you’ve made the initial contribution it’s trivial to go back later and change it to another amount. 3) Wait a minute, you’re at, like, 1200% funding already… This project is much bigger than a single book at this point….
"J.C. From JC - Electric Literature's Recommended Reading by Halimah Marcus and Benjamin Samuel. Great authors inspire us. But what about the stories that inspire them? Recommended Reading, the latest project from Electric Literature, will publish one story every week, each chosen by a great author or editor. In this age of distraction, we'll uncover writing that's worth slowing down and spending some time with. And in doing so, we'll help give great writers, literary magazines, and independent presses the recognition (and readership) they deserve. Why Support Recommended Reading... ...if you’re a reader? There's so much available to read, but so little writing that can truly move us. ....if you’re a writer? Every writer knows that getting published is only half the battle. Writers often say they feel guilty for submitting to magazines they've never read. ...if you’re a publisher?
Running an independent press and/or literary journal is always a labor of love. What You Get for Your Money Our $10,000 goal will launch Recommended Reading. Paying Artists What We Can Do If You Keep Donating. Modern Hanafuda by Sarah. Hey, Hi & Hello Kickstarter! My name is Sarah Thomas and I'd like to introduce you to my Modern Hanafuda cards. Hanafuda cards are Japanese playing cards that can be used for a variety of games all around the world.
Over the past couple months, I have been sketching my own modern version of the cards and I need your support to make the next steps possible. Look below for a bit of back story! The term Hanafuda literally translates from Japanese to "flower. " This flower motif is important to the cards because each suit is represented using flowers in conjunction with other natural elements such as cranes, boars, and butterflies. All the art will be a modern take on the traditional set done by yours truly. Each card will measure 2.75 inches x 4.72 inches (70 mm x 120 mm). Please note that I'm still in the process of finishing the cards and if you become a backer, you can help make decisions on the final designs. Next question!
