One of the tremendous advantages to AGS's size and commitment to girl-specific teaching is our ability to move on new ideas and opportunities almost as fast as technology changes. As many of you know, our girls learn best when our classrooms are "student centered," when teachers can act as guides as well as experts, and when our girls can learn experientially. AGS teachers are well trained in creating engaging lesson plans which leverage the best of available technology to execute. When the Promethean interactive board (or smart board) was introduced into our community, it was seen as the next big step in making the classroom more engaging and interactive. Teachers today are fortunate to have access to technological tools that make our jobs easier and minimize the paperwork involved in educating our students.
