Circular Grid Patterns with Geneviève’s Mandala Stencils All of us who do any kind of pattern drawing are familiar with grid patterns, patterns that drawn on a square grid like these, tow of my favourites: The mandala stencils are essentially a circular grid tool.
And if you draw the same pattern by following the grid, you end up with the pattern in a circular form. Here is a video that shows the process. In Portland we broke the 60 degree mark for the 1st time yesterday. Still feels like winter to me! Thus in the evenings I am still tucking myself in a lot, puttin on a good movie and drawing. Autowonderland builds custom cars here at our main Ottawa facility and at any given time we have 3 or 4 projects on the go. Presently we are doing 4 frame off's, a 1964 Olds Dynamic 88, 1964 409 Pontiac Parisienne, 1962 Impala SS and a 1963 Bel Air wagon. We can't get enough of early 60's cars as you can tell. We believe that being into these types of cars is not just a hobby, but a lifestyle that brings fellow gearheads and bloody knuckles together. We also own a warehouse in Morrisburg (45 mins south of Ottawa) which is home to many a motown muscle, (which of curse are stored for the winter months).
