Santa pants gift bag. How to Make a Santa Pants Wine Bag. Fabric Valentine hearts garland. I have a big aversion to heart-shaped jewelry, but I don't mind me some Valentine decorations!

Fabric Valentine hearts garland

Using some pieces of stiffened fabric, I made these easy folded fabric hearts. Once the fabric is treated (see here for the how to), it folds beautifully and doesn't fray. Start by making a set of paper templates. I layered and cut four identical heart shapes, then progressively shaved more off the sides of each one. Trace the four heart shapes onto the back side of a piece of stiffened fabric and cut them out. Beeswax Heart Candles on Sticks. Handmade Valentine’s Day Gift Idea ~ Chocolate Love Notes. Oh you guys, I am so excited about this Valentine!

Handmade Valentine’s Day Gift Idea ~ Chocolate Love Notes

Most likely due to the fact that I have a horrible track record when it comes to Valentine’s Day gifts for my husband. I thought this idea was a great way to not just say I love you, but share all the things that I love about him. I wrote down things that I never have thought to tell him I love. For instance I love the way he laughs when he is with his friends. Something about it totally turns me on, and I am quite certain I have never told him. You could use anything, even a pack of gum, but I went with Hershey’s nuggets and wrapped them with scrapbook paper I cut down to size. Then using a simple running stitch, embroidered “i love…” on some muslin that I made into a little bag (you could use this tutorial, just make it smaller) to put all the chocolate love notes in. Now I just can’t decide if I should wait to give it to him, or give it to him tomorrow to count him down to the day.

As for my track record, ladies I am horrible! Mini Crepe Paper Flower Favors DIY. Jan 26 by Chiara Alberetti Milott I have to say, Valentine’s Day is one of my all-time favorite holidays.

And although I made them with Valentine’s Day in mind, they really could be used for any event, from a baby shower to a wedding. Materials needed: crepe paper, toothpicks, scissors, glue, wax paper, a hole punch (I found the smaller size works better with the toothpicks), and some green paper and white-ink pen for name tags.

Step 1: Cut out 5 or 6 crepe paper petals, about 1/2-inch wide by 1-inch height, and follow Jordan’s great tutorial for crepe paper flowers here (steps 1-9 of her Basic Rose Instructions). Step 2: Tear off a 12-inch piece of wax paper. All-Natural Easter Egg Dye Recipes. Bluish-Gray Mix 1 cup frozen blueberries with 1 cup water, bring to room temperature, and remove blueberries.
