WRUW - 91.1 FM - More Music, Fewer Hits

http://wruw.org/ WRUW TELETHON: Helping Raise Funds for 45th Birthday and many more to come Following up a ground breaking Telethon in 2011, WRUW-FM looks to raise money during our week-long fundraising celebration from April 9th to April 15th, 2012. Not only does this year celebrate our listeners and their contributions to the continued longevity of the station, but it also commemorate our 45th Birthday this Feb. 26th, the 10 year anniversary of our power increase to 15,000 watts, and the 36th Annual Studio-A-Rama… all of which we have spent with you, and members of the Cleveland and world-wide community. CLEVELAND, Ohio (February 27, 2012) — Telethon is the one time of the year that we at WRUW-FM ask you, our listeners, for a monetary contribution in order to help us run our non-profit, college radio outlet, all year ‘round. Supported in part by Case Western Reserve University, over half of our operating costs are provided by our listeners from money raised during the Telethon season.
