Project of Crowdfunding: Negative Results and YOU: the key to improving Science - Science, Health and Research - Reward Financing - Donation Financing - Safari Crowdfunding. In life there are positive and negative things—the good and the bad. This is also apparent in science. While there are some successful experiments, there are many others with negative, unexpected or useless results. In 1879, after many disappointments while working through the process of developing the light bulb, Thomas Edison said: 'I have not failed.

I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.' This is the reality of science— a reality that is often hidden, disguised, or omitted. Why does it occur? There are lots of factors which comprise the internationally known phenomenon called 'publication bias'. There's no doubt that the article describing the protein that cures cancer has a great impact on society (From SACSIS , we hope with all our heart that this occurs as soon as possible). In 2008, The All Results Journals was founded under the motto 'All your results are good results'. Are there any competitors? What are the BENEFITS of this campaign? Please see this funny video. Workers train with protective equipment for handling Ebola-infected patients (Photo by CDC Global, CC license) The 2014 outbreak of Ebola was one the largest and deadliest brushes with the frightening virus in history, and has spurred unprecedented efforts to develop a working vaccine. Until such a vaccine can be developed and reliably produced, populations in the outbreak epicenter—and medical providers who are assisting them—are working without a net, so to speak. In late September of last year, Dr. Lewis Rubinson fell off the tightrope.

While working at a clinic in Sierra Leone, Rubinson accidentally stuck himself with an infected needle; He let the stick site bleed to promote flushing and, while the clock ticked down until the decontamination procedures were complete, he washed the area with a diluted bleach solution—the only decontamination solution at hand. Researchers have since concluded that the Ebola-like symptoms were in fact caused by the VSV-ZEBOV vaccine. Scientists closer to seeing a vast, invisible universe #Science. Scientists attempt to see a vast, invisible universe.

The universe is made up mostly of dark energy and dark matter, physicists believeHumans cannot detect dark matter; it is invisibleA device in space may have found hints of it in anti-matter particlesThese could come from other sources but look consistent with dark matter (CNN) -- Take a look around you, and in your mind's eye, randomly wipe out all but a small fraction of what you can see. Pretend the vast rest of reality is there but invisible. You'd probably like a device that helps you see much more of it. Scientists working at CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research, have made some progress in that direction with the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer (AMS), which has been riding aboard the International Space Station since 2011. Physicists believe that mental exercise in blindness reflects the reality of our universe, only about 4% of which manifests as the kind of matter and energy we can perceive.

Baseball has its Hall of Fame. And now, an unlikely marriage between the two has been fashioned. Larry Granillo, who runs the über-awesome Wezen Ball, took it upon himself to essentially mash up the Periodic Table (which currently boasts 118 known elements) with those who’ve been formally voted into baseball’s most elite circle (109 members, to date). With a little categorizing and a whole lot of inventiveness, Granillo came up with the definitive classification system of baseball legends. Of course, Granillo didn’t just throw everyone in all willy-nilly. A lot of thought was put into this project. • The game’s most noble players make up the right-most column, with the most radioactive players making up the left-most column.

This incredible chart was the final product. Not bad at all, but there are some potential revisions.
