Play "Fantasy Quest" online using Battlegrounds virtual tabletop software | Gloom of Kilforth: A Fantasy Quest Game | BoardGameGeek
For anyone considering ordering the 7 decks from Artscow, it appears that the cost to own a physical copy of this game can range anywhere from $60-$140, according to this thread . Crafting your own PNP version is less expensive, but takes between 15-20 hours, according to this thread . The digital/virtual version of this game is a free download but requires the purchase of a $15 or $20 software license to run it on. So I think it might be a good option for those who have been curious about trying this game out, but aren't crazy about the time and expense involved with procuring a physical copy of the game. The digital version also saves you from having to deal with issues like storage, sleeving, blisters/cuts/hand cramps, etc. Of course, if you DO get the software, you won't be limited to playing just Fantasy Quest, and if you happen to be a fledgling game designer, you would have a nice toolset for creating and playtesting your own digital prototypes.CON 2011 | BoardGameGeek | BoardGameGeek
