Chat by demortier Mado on Prezi. Mind Map by Tyler Daniels on Prezi. My personal work/leisure/learning environment. Following on from the previous post I was thinking about how I have accrued a set of technologies around me. This wasn't a deliberate policy - I didn't think "I need to construct a personal working environment. Here are the functions I need... " Rather I have come across them, experimented with some, rejected some and kept others. It was only when considering what tools I couldn't afford to lose that I realised I had 'constructed' something that might loosely be termed a working environment. I've mapped it out in Compendium, and here is the image (click on it to open up in a new window): I suspect my set of tools is smaller than a lot of people's.

I use it regularly It's outside of my formal work provision (no Outlook, Moodle, FirstClass, etc) It is something I have input to, not just a resource e.g. A few things to note about this: It would be good to find an easy means of sharing these, with clouds so we could see which tools are used regularly.

ITyPA2. Veille et Web 2.0. The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People. The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, first published in 1989, is a business and self-help book written by Stephen R.

Covey.[1] Covey presents an approach to being effective in attaining goals by aligning oneself to what he calls "true north" principles of a character ethic that he presents as universal and timeless. The 7 Habits[edit] The book first introduces the concept of paradigm shift and helps the reader understand that different perspectives exist, i.e. that two people can see the same thing and yet differ with each other.

On this premise, it introduces the seven habits in a proper order. Each chapter is dedicated to one of the habits, which are represented by the following imperatives: Independence[edit] The First Three Habits surround moving from dependence to independence (i.e., self-mastery): 1 - Be Proactive roles and relationships in life. 2 - Begin with the End in Mind envision what you want in the future so that you know concretely what to make a reality. 4 - Think Win-Win.

Conférence #3 - Knowledge Management & Innovation - by Eunika Merci... Knowledge Management 2.0. My Personal Knowledge Management. From exponential technologies to exponential innovation. We developed the Shift Index to help executives understand and take advantage of the long-term forces of change shaping the US economy. The Shift Index tracks 25 metrics across more than 40 years. These metrics fall into three areas: 1) the developments in the technological and political foundations underlying market changes, 2) the flows of capital, information, and talent changing the business landscape, and 3) the impacts of these changes on competition, volatility, and performance across industries.

Combined, these factors reflect what we call the Big Shift in the global business environment. For more information, please go to www.deloitte.com/us/shiftindex Exponential improvement in core digital technologies is fueling exponential innovation. The cost-performance of three core digital technology building blocks—computing power, storage, and bandwidth—has been improving at an exponential rate for many years. These rapid advances have the power to disrupt industries.
