Really I must admit we have some amazing custom builders here in our forum who could also, modify a Drop Loop frame or even a Helmutt Cycles Chassis, and custom fit these engines into one of their builds! So there you have it forum members,the only Bicycles I see these type of engines working best on are "IMO" Stretch Cruisers, Chopper Bicycles, and Custom Stretch Chopper Recumbents!!! Although it was a huge success, as a kit bike, it was only street legal in the few states where builders were allowed to assemble their own motorcycle. As of this year, the Hardknock will no longer being sold as a kit. Instead, it is sold as a fully-built, able to license, street legal motorcycle with both DOT/EPA approval in the United States and EC-Type approval in all European countries and Switzerland.
