About ceapt. Savonius & Gorlov VAWT by qharley. A self starting Vertical Axial Wind Turbine intended for domestic wind harvesting, but could be scaled to any application.

Savonius & Gorlov VAWT by qharley

This little turbine has evolved quite a bit to get here... This design goes back to the NACA 0015 profile used in the first designs, with the addition of a Savonius for self starting. The Savonius size is chosen to run at it's optimal speed when the Gorlov turbine reaches it's optimal speed, preventing unnecessary drag. Print a top and base, and at least 2 atomic sections. There are no dove-tail connections yet (coming soon) so be careful when assembling. The turbine is designed to be threaded onto a 8mm threaded rod. Scanner 3D Fabscan Cube. Pour celui qui ne veut pas passer des heures à re-modéliser les objets du quotidien pour en faire des copies, un scanner 3D est un outil indispensable!

Knife Assistant by ThePlanetMike

I use the Knife Assistant to provide a flat surface on the back of almost any knife to push against it more comfortably. It also keeps the knife more controllably vertically aligned for nice straight slices. Want me to design a 3D printable assistive technology for you? Carpal tunnel splint by windy98. The carpal tunnel splint is a simple 3d printable wrist flexion resisting brace which is minimal and contoured to the shape of the forearm, wrist, and palm.

Carpal tunnel splint by windy98

If you suffer from carpal tunnel syndrome this splint will prevent you from flexing your wrist forward whilst being minimalist at the same time. Unlike the bulky chemist bought ones. The design is being 'clinically' trailed on my mum who suffers from carpal pain. Update 2.2 Version 2.2 has been uploaded and is now available for download.

Hearing Amplifier by Ginop. The Hearing Amplifier. When it comes to buying a hearing aid, prices are a bit steep. The electronics that go into manufacturing a powered hearing aid are micro-sized, and therefore very expensive. There are no electronics required with set of hearing aids, making them a great alternative to high priced electronic ones. These simple hearing aid alternatives are much more eco-friendly than electronic ones. They are fully recyclable and remove the need for expensive and environmentally detrimental batteries. The highest possible print resolution is recommended. Opening Help / Opener for disabled people by evilmaker. Key rotation Help by CrackBaron. Support customizable utensils by Vagner_Bachm.

Wheel chair hook by Master_bot. HandiHook-V3 by Ideas-Illuminated. Hi, my name is Brian Thornber. I am a 16 year old 11th grade student, interested in becoming a 3D Printing Engineer. I've made an object, to help me improve my skills, and to help other people with every day problems. Introducing the HandiHook. The HandiHook is a device, used to help people pick up various bags. Using the HandiHook, people will be able to pic up more bags, or it may simply help people who have trouble picking up bags. The HandiHook V3 has stronger hooks than the first and second version, and requires much less plastic than the first one. Adapted cup for people without wrist movement by wesguilherme_92. Carbonated beverage cap remover by chakahamilton. Gyrospoon by broskySWAG106. My device is a spoon that can rotate 360 degrees so that the food inside will not be spilled. This helps people with Parkinson's disease and people with other disorders that cause them to have shaky hands, which leads to a difficulty in feeding themselves. The Gyrospoon helps alleviate that difficulty by using gyroscopic technology to keep the spoon part facing upward at all times.

Assistive Joystick - For finite hand movement by pabardini. This device was created for a person with Guillian-Barre syndrome - causing nervous system inflammation and temporary paralysis. As they where being rehabilitated, this devices allow them to interact with a computer. This joystick allow more finite movement of hand and fingers. The form is create to fit the alignment of a person laying in bed. The large button on the back of the device allows the user to use the palm for the mouse click. Also the side button are facilitated by squeezing the device. A new finger rest was designed to replace the existing joystick knob, allowing the two or three fingers to move the joystick. Arduino micro controller and stock (very accessible) joystick parts and switches where used for other to replicate the device Code is available on the Arduino website. Thanks.
