But I cannot help believing that every now and again the Spirit arrives with flapping wings and honking, too.

Tribune.org — The magazine of the Baptist Bible Fellowship

On the cross, Jesus died for sins. That’s what the phrase from the Epistle to the Romans means when it says he was delivered for our offences. We are sinners, and the teaching of the Bible is that Jesus atoned for our sins by his death. And just as he was dying on the cross, the Gospel of John declares, “… he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.” [click to continue…] Unusual and different are not words commonly used to describe fellowship meetings among Baptists , but the February meeting in Fort Worth, TX, was that from the beginning. http://www.tribune.org/

FaithWriters Magazine-Christian Magazine and e-zine

Hello and welcome to the May/June Issue of FaithWriters' Magazine--another issue full of inspiration, encouragement and special blessings to brighten your day. I don't know about you, but I find that life often has a tendency to throw a spanner in the works of our best laid plans. We rise up with excitement to step into the dreams and hopes God has placed before us, or even just to embrace the pleasure of a brand new day, only to find that circumstances don't always go the way we'd hoped. God is good all the time, and all the time God is good! Some pastors, prior to delivering the message, often make the congregation recite this statement of belief. As the adage goes, "easier said than done."

Home - Winsomewit.com

Winsomewit.com is dedicated to a little understood and rarely mentioned genre of writing known as "Christian satire". I started this site about six or seven years ago in hopes of inspiring others to try their hands at it. Since then, the site has been listed in various locations of the web and in print as a market for Christian humor. Most of the submissions have been funny, but not in a way their authors intended. I've redesigned winsomewit.
