" These space-maximizing strategies are relevant to many of us, so it's always enjoyable to come across new ideas, such as the ones implemented in this elegant small dwelling by Alaskan self-taught carpenter, blogger, mom and free-DIY-plans extraordinaire Ana White.
Together with her husband Jacob, Ana created a surprisingly spacious 24-foot-long tiny house for a client that is jam-packed with clever, transforming furniture ideas and an affordable DIY "elevator bed". Kako dizajnirati mali stan. Stan veličine 22 kvadrata u varšavskoj prigradskoj ulici postao je dom mladoj poljskoj porodici. Arhitekte Margaret Kžižanovska i Grigorij Valiguža iz studija "Utopia" uspešno su od malog prostora stvorili funkcionalan i udoban stan. Promišljenim koršćenjem svakog kvadratnog metra i srećne okolnosti da se nalazi u zgradi podignutoj sredinom prošlog veka s visokom tavanicom, uspeli su da ostvare otvoren i nepretenciozan enterijer. Bela, plava i siva boja samo su dodale šik dizajnerskoj ideji. Podizanjem mezanina sa udobnim prostorom za spavanje i dresingom u okviru velike kocke rasterećen je skučeni prostor.
Blok na kome je postavljen veliki krevet dobro je osmišljen gaderober u koji se može ući s dve strane dok je jedna rezervisana za fioke. Stepenice u stanu su ujedno i fioke tako da za skladištenje stvari uprkos malom prostoru ne predstavlja problema. Na postraničnoj strani kuhinjskih elemenata postavljeno je veliko ogledalo koje spavaćem delu daje (lažnu) širinu i prostranost.

There is now, and it’s the brainchild of Welsh architectural group Hyde + Hyde Architects, which they’ve named ‘House for a Photographer.’ The modern, minimalist structure is nestled into an unused quarry on the edge of Brecon National Park in Pontypridd, Wales. To avoid disturbing the surrounding environment and quarry walls, Hyde + Hyde Architects elevated the house off the ground, making for quite a unique structural experience.
As for perks for the resident photographer, the house is designed to collect light with its many windows and elevated structure, “focusing on distant views like a Camera Obscura,” they say. A peek into my workshop... Boho Amazonite Gemstone Bracelet I was crazy about these small rectangular silver link findings and faceted Amazonite rondelle beads. I love faceted rondelles! I thought that together they'd make a nice combination.
I like the way the blue-green Amazonite and the silver compliment each other. I decided to alternate them in a design and create a Boho style link bracelet. I cut 2" pieces of silver wire and using a simple wrapped loop technique, connected the beads and silver links together until I had the bracelet length that I wanted. I have a crush on velvet and now I see it everywhere. If money were no object, this fabulous sofa would be in my house tomorrow. I like how this room uses the green velvet in a luxurious way while still feeling casual enough to plop down and be at home. Here is the bigger picture. I think our yellow sofa still works in the room. But this couch, that was never supposed to make its way up from the basement, does not work.
