Η υλοποίηση δράσεων Ειδικής Αγωγής για μαθητές με αναπηρία ή μαθησιακές δυσκολίες αναμένεται να συμβάλλει στην αύξηση της πρόσβασης μαθητών ΑμεΑ σε υψηλής ποιότητας εκπαίδευση και στον περιορισμό της πρόωρης εγκατάλειψης του σχολείου. Κατά τον σχεδιασμό σχετικών δράσεων λαμβάνονται υπόψη τα νέα πρότυπα που επιτάσσει η Διεθνής Σύμβαση για τα δικαιώματα των ατόμων με αναπηρίες.
Ειδικότερα, στο πλαίσιο της παρούσας Πρόσκλησης, προβλέπεται η ανάπτυξη προσβάσιμου ψηφιακού εκπαιδευτικού υλικού για την Πρωτοβάθμια Εκπαίδευση (από την Γ’ έως και την ΣΤ’ Δημοτικού) για όλους τους μαθητές με αναπηρία ή/ και ειδικές εκπαιδευτικές ανάγκες.
