The Young Person’s Guide To The Orchestra Created by the Britten Pears Foundation, the Young Person’s Guide To Orchestra app was created to celebrate the centenary of Britten’s birth and is one of my favourite free orchestral apps. Aimed at primary/elementary-aged children, the app has lovely illustrations by Sara Fanelli and includes a complete recording of the work. You can follow along with the score or watch video recordings of the performers and conductor. MSO Learn The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra’s MSO Learn app is another favourite free orchestra app for music education.
