This is a nightmare. Yes, Cube came immediately to mind. Anyway, there's a children's museum near liberty park NJ with this thing called the 'touch tunnel' (wow, that sound kinda wrong now that I think about it). It was a maze-like (one direction, but with twists, turns, and elevation) tunnel in complete darkness. The thing was terrifying. Still, I can definitely see this cube being built in a Times Square-esque location. They should use UV-reflective paint so that attendants can spy out arrows and directions with black lights or something. I can't imagine this this would be all too expensive to build, assuming your average jacked-up admissions fees and cafe prices at tourist attractions - and a ten year run time.
