The 'Mixing Secrets' Free Multitrack Download Library (Cambridge Music Technology)

All these projects are presented as ZIP archives containing uncompressed WAV files (24-bit or 16-bit resolution and 44.1kHz sample rate). For maximum mixdown flexibility, the contributors have made every effort to provide audio 'raw', in other words without additional effects or processing (beyond treatments printed during tracking/editing). When importing the tracks, just make sure all the files start at exactly the same moment in time within your DAW's timeline. (Download problems?) As well as the multitracks hosted directly on this site, I've also included links to a few other decent downloads I've discovered on other sites. October 23rd 2018: Preparing for site redesign... ART TubeOpto8 + ???

If you want to use the analog outs you will need one that does inputs and outputs (i.e., RayDAT). It's kind of weird the way they use the analog outs. They are tied to the ADAT input on the TubeOpto. This works fine for me, because I have an RME RayDAT. Basically the mic/line inputs go to the RayDAT from the TubeOpto's ADAT out and the RME's out goes to the TubeOpto's ADAT in.

I just got my TubeOpto and did an A/B against an OctoPre and a Liquid Saffire 56. So, the session was with a drummer. Also, one of the tracks is about half as long as the other two, because the drummer got a phone call and had to run, but you should be able to get a good idea of the sound in 60 seconds or less.
