Émile Courtet , dit Émile Cohl , né à Paris le 4 janvier 1857 et mort à Villejuif le 20 janvier 1938 , est un dessinateur et animateur français , considéré comme l'inventeur du dessin animé . Il fut l'élève du caricaturiste André Gill . Il créa le plus ancien dessin animé sur pellicule de cinéma connu à ce jour, Fantasmagorie , qui fut projeté pour la première fois le 17 août 1908 , au théâtre du Gymnase à Paris, pour la société Gaumont .

Morimoto Kōji,(born December 26, 1959) is an animator and one of Japan’s premier anime directors. Born in Wakayama, Japan, he graduated from the Osaka School of Design in 1979 and a couple years later joined the studio Annapuru as a grunt animator for the TV series “Tomorrow's Joe”. While working there, he saw some animation by Takashi Nakamura in ‘Gold Lightan’, an otherwise standard mecha TV ser ... ies by a rival studio.
