I’m Google ( direct link ) is an ongoing digital art project by Baltimore artist Dina Kelberman that documents digital patterns through non-artistic photography found on Google Image Search . When I first started scrolling through her Tumblr I wasn’t quite sure what I was looking at: frame after frame of airplanes pouring orange fire retardant on fires which slowly morphed into an orange kayak and then an orange bridge and on and on until I realized every single image shared a slight visual characteristic with the image before it. Via her artist statement:

Jeanloup Sieff fue un fotógrafo francés (1933 - 2000) cuya obra ha sido reconocida por sus retratos a personalidades del mundo del espectáculo y políticos, también por sus reportajes y fotografías de paisajes, pero sobre todo por sus desnudos femeninos. En sus fotografías, la mayoría en blanco y negro, prevalecen las curvas femeninas son un recurso más del erotismo que desprenden las imágenes. El uso del angular como elemento de transgresión y un magnífico aprovechamiento de la luz hacen que las imágenes de Sieff no resulten en modo alguno fuera de contexto sino que por el contrario estén dotadas de un exquisito buen gusto.

Bueno chusmeando el diario del fotógrafo Salva López donde generalmente hace mención de sus musas inspiradoras, dí con este muchacho llamado Alec Soth. El tipo tiene la premisa de hacer un libro con cada proyecto que realiza y eso me parece una cualidad digna de imitar, aunque nos duela el bolsillo. En fin.. no soy curador y no voy a decir más nada ya que todo lo que ví en su sitio es de los más variado, eso si... es para ver con tiempo, son muchas fotos por proyecto.
