One of the topics I have addressed is the advantages of ISO 9001 to the company and the customer but when it comes to the advantages of ISO 9001 for staff I am limited, so far, to saying that: "For an organisation’s staff the benefits of having a robust quality system in place lie in havingdocumented processes. This enables staff to know how organisational processes work and how their work contributes to achievement of organisational outcomes. Documented processes showing how things are done avoids confusion, duplication of activities and contributes to elimination of ‘cracks’ for things to fall through. The purpose of listing advantages of ISO 9001 for staff is a not-so-subtle attempt to get their support to implement and use the quality system, to "sell" them on the system on the basis of "whats in it for them" (WIFT) Care to list some other advantages?
