Okay, so that may not rhyme, but at least you know what this post is about, right? As always, the source Inside Facebook has an in-depth look at some Facebook demographics that matter. In this case, a look at some international statistics in the 15 largest countries represented on Facebook. I only have information on four of the markets - you have to be a member of Inside Facebook Gold to get the full report. Let's see what we've got for now. U.S. We know the U.S. members are continuing to grow: 4.4 million were added in April, and another 7.8 million joined in May, bringing the U.S. total past 125 million. Wikipedia (#4) and Mozilla (#10) are the only two Websites in Google's top 10 not to display advertising. According to new reports, in recent weeks Facebook is growing at a rate of 600,000 users each day, up from 300,000 to 400,000 users per day earlier this quarter. The company is also reporting that, as of today, they have reached 140 million active users. The new data being reported on Inside Facebook is based on their estimations, and not any actual release from the company. That being said, the Inside Facebook site notes that the 600,000 users per day is only a roundabout number - the true number could possibly be even higher: perhaps even as high as 700,000 users per day.

If Facebook continues at this rate, by the end of December they could add a total of 20 million new users. Facebook's Users Are Active and Engaged Facebook did release some figures of their own today that show their users are actively using the site and engaged with the content.
