How to spruce up a t-shirt with lace | My Vintage Secret

http://www.myvintagesecret.com/how-to-spruce-up-a-t-shirt-with-lace-inserts/ Lace! Whenever I think of lace I remember that crazy outfit Britney Spears wore a few years ago and I’ve been kind of turned off of the fabric (yes it’s a weird association, lace=Britney, but that’s just how my crazy mind works). Lately however, after a few vintage lace tops I’ve come to love the fabric and decided to play around with it for my DIYs. Here is a t-shirt that I added lace strips to. I hope you like it! Cut off sleeves.

How to put patches on jean shorts: Patchwork trend | My Vintage Secret

Patches are on everything this spring! I remember when I was little and my mother used to put heart patches on top of holes I made in my jeans and I loved them. As I grew older and kept wearing out my jeans, I became “too cool” for patches, making a face at my mom who would offer to mend them with her signature heart patch. I’m happy to see that patches have become a trend! http://www.myvintagesecret.com/diy-in-progress-patch-shorts/

THE WEEKENDER « Weekend designer

Featured: Lex Trip Bag So this weekend will have you jetting off to the coast for sun & surf? For a weekend excursion you need a quick trip bag.
Cut the sleeves off, fold in and sew edges to finish. I cut the waistband off the navy version because it was too tight and therefore would conflict with the final design. Cut a cuff off a sleeve or use a portion of the waistband for the middle of the bow.
