http://radioactivepanda.com/comic/135 I actually built models of the Cicaeda for reference, both inside and out, but they proved to be too big and unwieldy to easily use. I got enough out of them though that I think I can draw this thing properly without them now.

Radioactive Panda

Jan 26, 2009 Over the next few weeks, all you long-time readers in the audience will learn exactly where and how all the different parts of our new epic fit in with everything that has come before them. And I'm sure that after today's comic, many of you will already have some pretty good guesses... especially if you've been paying really close attention during the last couple of years of strips. But Volume 5 isn't purely for the die-hards. Much like the previous volume , our new story can also be read and enjoyed by folks who haven't had even the slightest bit of prior Sam and Fuzzy exposure. Even if you have never read a single comic I have ever drawn, you can read Volume 5.

Surviving the World - Daily Lessons in Science, Literature, Love and Life . . . Updated Seven Days A Week

Paternity leave guest lecture week begins, with several great, great comic people contributing to STW for the next few days! First off is the great Chris Yates - not only is his photocomic " Reprographics " fantastic, but the hand-cut wood puzzles he makes are AMAZING. Seriously, they are not only beautiful works of art but delightful puzzles as well. Major thanks to Chris and Emily for the guest comic above! STW SHIRT SALE THIS TUESDAY : To celebrate the birth of my daugher, this Tuesday, May 1st, there'll be a sale in the STW store ! http://survivingtheworld.net/
If you are ever on the site and experience an ad that auto-plays audio, pops over content without interaction or is doing anything weird or unusual that you don’t like, please let me know. I try my hardest to keep all those annoying types of ads off of the site for you guys, but every once in a while, something will sneak through. You can send me an email or just leave a quick comment on whatever content your are viewing at the moment, the more detail the better. This includes what the ad was for (e.g. Kleenex, Resolve, etc) and what size it was (rectangle, long banner, skyscraper).

SlugBooks allows you to search for your specific courses by school and provides you with several options for where to purchase the available books. Save money and time! Rumour also has it that they will be expanding to Canada in the future. Visit their website for more detail. Why am I promoting this? I’ve been asked to collaborate with SlugBooks in recommending their website services through the use of comics based on the dreaded burdens that students have to endure in their academic adventures. http://domics.tumblr.com/

I did tonight's strip with the new Photoshop CS 6 beta. I have some very, very old habits and use the program really weirdly, but have to declare CS 6 ready for prime time. (for me, at least!) http://www.dieselsweeties.com/

The Joy of Tech comic... throwing a banana cream pie in the face of technology.

The Joy of Tech is a comic about technology and pop culture, created by Nitrozac and Snaggy, and updated three times a week. We like to feature the people and events that are making today's tech news. We've been making comics on the web since early 1999, and The Joy of Tech is now in its 12th year.
I hope every has a very hoppy Easter. Good Friday's tomorrow, so woo-hoo, and all that! There's a coupon code for 10% off aprons in the store. It's THUMBSUP. Now would be a great time to stock up on Pig Butchering Guide aprons .

At least, I will now. This comes from a collection of posters advertising against Syphilis, collected at the “The Passion of Former Days” blog , which are worth checking out if you have a moment and want to see some interesting posters. I just can’t get over the design decisions that led to this poster.
