We’ve been pretty spoiled this winter weather-wise, but it’s been pretty darn chilly the past few days. But then I look out the window and see a feathery, puffball with a beak on our front porch railing all puffed up to try and stay warm. You would have to be dead inside not to feel bad for the poor mongrels. To make an easy hanging bird feeder, you will need: a cheap, plastic bowl with a rim floral wire birdseed First, you will need to find a plastic bowl that you are willing to get rid of. Snip three evenly spaced slits around the rim of the bowl. Wrap floral wire around the bowl, underneath the rim. Fill the bowl with birdseed and wait for tired, poor, hungry masses of birds to arrive.
