KWK PROMES
New Zealand-based photographer Derek Henderson captures the distinctive architecture and natural beauty of the Saffire spa situated 125km northeast of Hobart in Tasmania’s Freycinet National Park (named after the French navigator who founded the site in 1916). Dispel the January blues by celebrating the beauty, optimism and ritzy lifestyle associated with the swimming pools of Southern California, in this series of iconic photographs featuring the likes of Marilyn Monroe and Richard Gere. Marking the festival of lights, Ben Murphy’s still lifes of schmaltzed radishes, bagels and half-sour pickles set amid rarefied tableware are inspired by English restaurateur Russell Norman’s newest endeavor, Mishkin’s.

The ‘Stadtvilla’ with 15 apartments is organized as a hall type. The villa is divided into two main building volumes following the offset of the building lines. A central vacuity forms between the lightly rotated volumes and connects as a hall all flats.
