The Transexual Bond Girl @ Universal Exports, The Home of James Bond, 007. The Urban Legend: Over the years, one of the most hotly debated rumors of the series was that of the Bond girl who was once a man. This urban legend is actually true, as For Your Eyes Only's Caroline Cossey was actually born Barry Kenneth Cossey: a man. However, over the years the truth has become distorted.

When discussed, people often assume that the Bond girl in question is the main love interest of the movie: Melina Havelock, played by Carol Boquet. In reality, Caroline, along with around 10 other actresses, played one of the girls in the background at the pool inside Loque's mansion. From Barry to Caroline: Barry Cossey was born in the village of Brooke, Norfolk county, England, and was raised as a boy. Cossey was already somewhat feminine due to a condition known as Klinefelter's syndrome; however, instead of having XXY chromosomes like most with this condition, Cossey is XXXY. At the age of 17, Cossey started hormone therapy and began living as a woman full time. Human Rights in Australia | Right Now.

Report Highlights Indigenous Disadvantage. Article by Rebecca Devitt | Published August 25, 2011 25 August 2011 Increases in Indigenous people in the criminal justice system, child abuse and chronic disease highlight the widening of the gap between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians, according to a new report released by the Productivity Commission. The latest report entitled Overcoming Indigenous Disadvantage: Key Indicators 2011 shows improvement in only 13 of the 46 indicators that are part of the Council of Australian Governments (COAG) commitment to “close the gap.” Areas in which improvements have occurred include employment, education and home ownership. Indigenous child abuse was one of the key reasons for the intervention into Indigenous communities in the Northern Territory but there has been little improvement in this area over the last decade. Mr Banks acknowledged that there had been some improvement in post high school education and significant improvement in health, school literacy and numeracy.
