I use a lot of films in my teaching: not just occasional Youtube clips but full-length authentic feature films, and I’ve been wanting for a while to start a new section on this blog where I would upload my film-based materials.

Students then use what they have learned to talk about their own loved ones. I know that doesn't sound vary "passionate", but sometimes following a pattern will help you understand better and in that way finding the passion in the story! Why? Because to read a short story like this will help you develop your understanding of written English. You will hopefully have a nice experience from reading a text from a Nobel Prize winner in literature, writing in the fiction genre, which might lead to you wanting to read more fiction. And finally, because reading books opens doors in your mind and makes you think in new ways! What is your task? Your task is to read the text and send in answers to the questions.
