Check out this complete timeline of Doctor Who from 1963 to present, including episodes, seasons, companions, villains, and more. Scroll down to follow all the Doctor’s adventures through time. A Fantastic resource for any Doctor Who fan. First and formost it’s a timeline of the Doctor Who episodes from 1963-2011. I’ve posted earlier Doctor Who related infograpics here before (The Doctor Who infographic), but none that contained this level of detail. There are a couple design changes I would propose that would have made the data easier to understand.

But, perhaps we rely too much on Google. The information is insightful because it illustrates how Google helps us keep our daily lives organized and coherent. When only a few years ago, half of what Google offers now wasn’t even available then. Google is a service that we take for granted — just think where we’d be without it.

With album sales topping 450,000, we at Voxy decided to take a closer look at the seven-day best-seller: Abbey Road. This “closer look” entailed a corpus linguistics-based analysis of the 17 songs on the album. By definition, corpus linguistics is the study of language as manifested in corpora – or samples – of authentic text. Our corpus, then, consisted of electronic text files of Abbey Road‘s lyrics from which we extracted the qualitative and quantitative data displayed in the infographic below. Side 1 vs. Over the years, everyone from music critics to Fab Four fans to casual listeners has remarked on the pronounced, but brilliant differences between Abbey Road’s Side A and Side B tracks.

The majority of these “musical fragments and lyrical doodlings”, as the infographic shows, are actually composed of significantly less words than their Side 1 counterparts. Embed this image on your site. 27481201.
