Kids Week 2013. Woven Basket Texture Picture | Free Photograph | Photos Public Domain. Like no cinema you've ever been to... – Project Wild Thing. The weekend we’re supporting extreme film screenings of Project Wild Thing in some of the UK’s wildest landscapes to encourage families to take their screens outdoors to help reconnect a generation of kids with nature. On 10th and 11th May mini-screenings of the film will be shown at the summits of Ben Nevis, Snowdon and Scafell Pike, the highest peaks in Britain. Members of the public won’t be expected to scale the heady heights of the peaks; instead they will be invited to watch the full film in comfort at the foot of the mountains. The film will also be shown on the ferry to Lundy (the maritime premiere of Project Wild Thing), on the common in Bures (an English village straddling the Essex-Suffolk border) and at Marsden Moor in the peak district. The screenings have been arranged to help celebrate National Children’s Day UK, a nationwide celebration of the rights of the child.
