De esto se encarga la organización Disney Research , que ahora mostró un proyecto llamado Touché, el que permite a cualquier superficie reconocer gestos táctiles, ya sea una mesa, un sillón, agua o incluso el cuerpo humano, permitiendo su comunicación con aparatos computacionales. La idea es conectar un pequeño cable al objeto para que adquiera las propiedades táctiles, diferenciándose además de las pantallas touch convencionales en teléfonos móviles y tablets en un punto esencial: Touché reconoce cuánta superficie está siendo tocada, lo que permite a la computadora identificar si es que se puso una mano, un dedo o todo un brazo encima.
