THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF LARRY CARLSON. FREE PLANET BLOG. Repeated Life lessons. Kinda like having a recurring dream/nightmare. Having researched the form, I understand we're, "Being told something," by these events/dreams and I'm not sure I'm listening properly or able to act upon this Repeated Life lesson. A few days ago, I started (but didn't publish) a blogpost on the subject of achievemephobia or Fear of Success, which I suspected I suffered from. Personally, I feel VERY HAPPY with the 'creative life' I've had; as an artist I thought I created some powerful images; as a writer I thought I created some powerful characters; as a commentator I thought I came up with some powerful arguments.

But this is all like a kid playing with a toy i.e. there's no serious career in my self-entertainment or life plan(sic). Additionally, there seems to have been some sort of barrier to my financial success from my own creative endeavours. I know, I know, I know, "I may be the problem," I mean, after all, I'm cantankerous, I'm disruptive. Mandala, mandalas contemporains de marlis ladurée. Lindenlangdon.com The Advanced Diploma year at TAFE enabled me to further experiment with glazes using local materials and a variation in firing methods between electric, gas and wood fired kilns. As part of my submission I created a a short video “piecing together fragments”. The Diploma year (2011) in ceramics at Polytechnic Tasmania enabled me to further explore the use of ceramic forms in installation work. My final work, “Moments in Time” delved into the continued use of a ceramic form through history (referencing the African milk pot, traditionally carved from wood) by considering how it could be placed in a contemporary setting. “Moments in Time” also referred to the use of small quantities of clay sourced in a variety of locations specific to my travels which were then used to create shino glazes for the finished work.

First year ceramics (2010) at Polytechnic Tasmania covered a range techniques and introduced basic glaze knowledge. About the Artist Linden Langdon B.A, B.F.A.
