For the second year in a row, Creative Loafing and Creative Tampa Bay present 10/100/1000 — a contest to find 10 great ideas to make Tampa Bay a better place to live, with $1,000 awarded to the best idea of all. This year, we're fortunate to have some exciting new partners: the winners of the 2011 contest, Swings Tampa Bay , who will hold workshops during the 2012 application process on how to bring your good ideas to life. We're also inviting anyone who believes in the forward-thinking spirit of 10/100/1000 to become a member of the Ten100 Club : Donate $100 to Creative Tampa Bay, and we will list your name or your company's name on the 10/100/1000 website, providing links to your business and offering opportunities to network with leaders of the area's creative economy. The application deadline for 10/100/1000 was Thursday April 5 at 5 p.m. Applications are now CLOSED. http://adproof.creativeloafing.com/challenge/index.php

Children’s Miracle Network and First Financial Merchant Services (FFMS) have partnered together to create more miracles for the children. FFMS donates 10% of our gross proceeds from each merchants credit card processing fees to Children’s Miracle Network; month after month, year after year. It costs you nothing to help! FFMS will match what you are already paying and, in many cases, can lower your rates as well. http://www.createmoremiracles.com/

Do it as a family, or in the name of a loved one. When the project is complete, you'll see it on a Map. Give up your birthday, run a race, shave your moustache...grow a beard! You can do anything to fundraise. 800 million people on the planet drink water that's likely to make them sick. That's 1 in 9 of us. http://www.charitywater.org/
