I of course had to whip up a baby blanket. I didn’t want to use the same pattern that I used for Liam just to mix things up a bit, and spent days going through patterns on Ravelry to find just the right blanket but couldn’t decide. To join your second hexagon to your first, begin working Round 4 as above on the second hexagon, but when you reach the first corner of the side that is going to join, connect as follows: As promised, an update on my Mario blanket...so close to done! My friend wanted something that was "granny" but "not granny".

I worked on this blanket quite a bit traveling to Kansas City for the funeral of Special K's grandmother, Ruby, who was a pretty amazing crocheter, so the name seemed pretty appropriate. Pattern is up in Ravelry (probably the best place to download it). Novamade: the coolest thing i've ever made?
