Islamic State Files Show Structure of Islamist Terror Group. Aloof. Polite. Cajoling. Extremely attentive. Restrained. Dishonest. Inscrutable. Malicious. In fact, not even those who shot and killed him after a brief firefight in the town of Tal Rifaat on a January morning in 2014 knew the true identity of the tall man in his late fifties. Samir Abd Muhammad al-Khlifawi was the real name of the Iraqi, whose bony features were softened by a white beard. But when the architect of the Islamic State died, he left something behind that he had intended to keep strictly confidential: the blueprint for this state.

Until now, much of the information about IS has come from fighters who had defected and data sets from the IS internal administration seized in Baghdad. For the first time, the Haji Bakr documents now make it possible to reach conclusions on how the IS leadership is organized and what role former officials in the government of ex-dictator Saddam Hussein play in it. The Master Plan The Beginnings in Iraq The Implementation of the Plan. #IslamicState. The Islamic State's First Colony in Libya. Islamic State says it is buying and selling Yazidi women, using them as concubines. BAGHDAD -- The Islamic State extremist organization boasted Sunday that it had enslaved women from an Iraqi minority group in order to use them as concubines, as a rights organization detailed teenagers being bought and sold by fighters for as little as $1,000.

An English language propaganda magazine for the Islamic State said that Yazidi women and children were considered spoils of war after they were captured as the militants seized their towns and villages. It was the first confirmation from the group of wide-spread allegations of detention and sexual abuse against Yazidi women. Hundreds of thousands of members of the ancient sect were displaced as the Islamic State swept through the Sinjar area of northern Iraq in August, prompting President Obama to warn of an unfolding genocide.

Those who fled said that while men had been massacred, hundreds of women and children had been detained. “The enslaved Yazidi families are now sold by the Islamic State soldiers,” it continued. Islamic State Propagandists Boast of Sexual Enslavement of Women and Girls. In the latest edition of the Islamic State militant group’s glossy magazine, posted online this week, its propagandists admitted for the first time that women and girls of the Yazidi faith captured in Iraq had been treated as slaves and forced to marry fighters. Niqash | Nawzat Shamdeen | Berlin | 09.10.2014 A view of Mosul, before the extremists took over. The Sunni Muslim extremist group that has taken over the northern city of Mosul has a new source of income: real estate. The Islamic State group has confiscated the properties of all those who fled or taken them off those they consider enemies. Locals say the plan is to auction the real estate off and make more money. After taking control of the northern Iraqi city of Mosul in early June, the Sunni Muslim extremist group known as the Islamic State have been busy “coming into some property”.

They have “inherited” houses, industrial real estate and agricultural land around the areas they control in the province of Ninawa, mostly due to the fact that the rightful owners have fled or been forced out by the IS group. All of this real estate is considered to be under the control of the Islamic State, or IS, group’s so-called treasury system, or Bayt al-Mal.
