New therapy induces body's own cells to destroy cancerous tumors. (NaturalNews) Scientists at the German Cancer Research Center have developed a technique that induces the body's own immune cells to attack and destroy cancerous tumors. The therapy is part of a new approach in cancer treatment that seeks to mobilize the body's own immune system to remove the disease, preferably with fewer risks and side effects than more conventional and invasive treatments like surgery, radiation or chemotherapy. Immune therapies are already in use against prostate cancer and melanoma.

In this case, the immune therapy focuses on cells called natural killer (NK) cells, which are specialized for finding and destroying defective bodily cells, including cancer cells. They are effective against a wide variety of cancer types, including cells that are often ignored by other parts of the immune system. But having NK cells obviously doesn't make us immune to cancer, and that's because the cells are only effective against small clusters of cancerous cells. Sources: Cinnamon and honey's healing properties. (NaturalNews) On January 17, 1995, an article written by Beatrice Dexter about the benefits of honey and cinnamon powder, appeared in The Weekly World News.

Please allow me to preface this article with a bit of information unbeknown to the writer and virtually everyone else: cinnamon is 26 percent sulfur based and honey is 33 percent sulfur based, making their combination 59 percent sulfur based and the reason why their combination is so effective. Honey is the only food on the planet that will not spoil or rot. Honey will crystallize if it is left in a cool dark place for the long time, but do not mistake this crystallization for it turning into sugar. Honey never will become sugar. If it does crystallize, simply loosen the lid and let the honey jar sit in boiled water, as this will allow the honey to re-liquefy naturally.

It is important to note that you do not put a honey jar in boiling water while still be heated or in a microwave as these will kill the enzymes in the honey. 1. 2. 3.

Mental health. Exercise. Cannabis as a cure for cancer. How to Keep Bad Moods From Taking You Over. Photo by r.f.m II Well, it happens sometimes. I find myself in a lousy mood. Hard to say where it started, but it certainly has something to do with not getting much sleep Saturday night. I had big plans for Sunday, but the day was compromised by my zombie state. I think my IQ shrunk about thirty points from normal, for the whole day.

I did everything wrong. My funk cruised on through today too. Today I was going to write a more in-depth post on another topic, but when I sat down to do it, it was like pulling teeth. The Nature of the Beast Low moods are a bizarre animal. Mine is currently sucking the excitement out of certain upcoming events that normally thrill me to think about. Thankfully I’ve learned to recognize what it means to be in a bad mood, and usually I can remember what to do about it. In a bad mood, the thinking mind sticks around (sometimes it even goes into overdrive) but wisdom seems to slink away when you’re not looking. CHILDHOOD BRAIN MODIFICATION: Do This Now. Suck a paperclip up your nose! This one's from Jim Burrows Get a medium-small rubberband and a paperclip. Put the rubberband around your palm and the back of your hand. Thread the paperclip onto the band, then hold the paperclip between thumb and forefinger. If you let it go, the paperclip should instantly snap back, vanishing from sight. OK, now hold the paperclip again, draw attention to yourself. LORD OF THE GNATS On NPR "Livng on Earth", an entemologist mentioned that swarms of gnats will move towards anything that emits the low humming sound of female gnat wings.

LORD OF THE ANTS A stream of ants invaded my workbench. TWO-LAYER COLA Diet drinks will float on full-sugar drinks, but only if you add a layer of crushed ice to disrupt the flow from the spigot. PENNY CYCLOTRON ACCELERATOR I had a big potato-chip bowl. Dare to be Different Besides daring to sing loudly where others can hear, have you ever dared to "think out loud" in public? LOBSTER BOY! PROPER CLAPPING Clap normally.
