Welcome to nginx! DMX-shields The DMX-shield is an add-on (or "shield") for the Arduino.

Welcome to nginx!

It is an easy way to use the Arduino as a DMX-Master device (transmitter), just by adding the DMX-shield on the top of the Arduino. This shield is a simple circuit based around a driver chip (MAX-485 or SN 75176). The Driver Block Outputs the 3 Pins are needed for sending DMX (DMX-Pin1 -> Reference (GND); DMX-Pin2 -> Signal inversion (cold); DMX-Pin3 -> Signal (hot)).

Furthermore is the Driver Block taking care of changing the Arduino signal Voltage (0V / 5V,) into the DMX signal Voltage (-2,5V / +2,5V, according to RS485). -stencil for etching -eagle file Other shields: Index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=16_18&products_id=255# TinkerKit! DMX Receiver - MOS Module. The DMX-PWM converter is used for brightness control of 4 low-voltage LED, incandescent lamps and devices that use variable voltage via the DMX protocol.

TinkerKit! DMX Receiver - MOS Module

DMX messages are converted into PWM signals driving 4 power MOSFETs. The DMX address is set via the onboard DIP switches. Techinal Specifications Setting Address The DMX address is set using the first 9 switches of the DMX address switch. The address is set as a binary number (with switch 1 the LSB, Appendix A lists addresses and their corresponding switch settings).

USB DMX 8-channel Digital Output Module, noDNA Robotshop. Devantech DMX-USB-RX-D8, 8-channel Digital Output Module for DMX, USB Fully compliant with the latest USITT DMX512-A standard.Backwards compatible with the older USITT DMX512/1990 standard.Easy to use configuration via a USB port.

USB DMX 8-channel Digital Output Module, noDNA Robotshop

PC application supplied, no dip switches to worry about.Uses a single 9v DC supply for power, or 9v AC if dimmer control required .Module can be set to any DMX base address from 1-505 .Output ranges may be individually set to be Dimmer or Servo or Digital.DMX feed though on all pins, including 4 & 5.Selectable 120 Ohm termination. Technical Documentation. DMX Shield, noDNA Robotshop. Low cost USB DMX512 Transmitter, noDNA Robotshop. Combining the USB-RS485 module with our DMX Generator software, this is the lowest cost route to generating DMX512 that we know of.

Hardware documentation for the USB-RS485 module is here. The DMX Generator allows our USB-RS485 to control lighting scenes using a DMX512 data stream. Six pages of twelve sub-masters alow up to sixty scenes to be recorded and played back. Any number of named shows may be saved on disc. DMX-USB-RX-D8 8Ch Digital Output Intelligent Control. DMX is a system for controlling "intelligent" lighting fixtures and dimmers.

A wide variety of lighting control consoles, controllers and other devices that output DMX signals can be used to connect to an even greater variety of lighting fixtures and accessories that can be controlled by DMX. DMX controlled lighting systems are used in many professional settings, including concert lighting, stage lighting, studio lighting, theme park attractions, and much more. DMX512 4 Channel Driver Board. New for Autumn 2012 4-channel DMX512 PWM LED Driver Board Description This project is a 4 channel DMX512 driver board.

It features four power MOSFETs that can be configured to operate in PWM mode or as on/off outputs. The driver can be configured to use any four consecutive addresses across the full 512 channel address range. Component List Notes: Apart from resistor R13 all other resistors are 0.125 (1/8) watt parts. DMX MosFet Receiver. The DMX MosFet Receiver is a DMX module that mounts four Mosfet; they can be individually controlled using a DMX master like TinkerKit!’

DMX MosFet Receiver

S DMX Master Shield. Each MosFet supports up to 24V DC, if you don’t know what a MosFet is, check the tutorial on the MosFet Module The board is divided in three parts: 1. MosFet Output Where the connections with the outputs are made. Don’t work with the DMX MosFet Module at voltages higher that 24V. 2. Plug in here the wires from the Master Shield or another DMX Receiver. 3. DMX works with one master and up to 128 receivers, all connected to a single line. As you probably understood from the pictures, if the pin is down that digit is 0, while if it’s up it is 1. E.g. if set the address of the board on 3 (101), if you want to turn on the first MosFet at 182, you have to write: if you want to write on the second: and so on. DmxMaster.write(, 128); Binary Value: 0.

DMX stuff.
