Don notes that he watched the Milk River throughout the course of his life braid a path back and forth across the landscape. Don's insights prompted him to visualize the Missouri Headwaters at a point in time after the braiding up to 1805--not where the river flows today. I made 3 – 4 cards per topic using a mixture of history resources for information so these should fit with any curriculum. I print these out and the boys glue to index cards, then I laminate them. You can print these on regular paper or card stock and laminate, but I like for the boys to glue the pieces on as we go over the info. It seems to stick in their minds better.
