Calling All Superheroes

We’ve got all that is needed for a super photo op at a kids party…the superhero cape, superhero mask, phone booth and the sign that is a “visual sound!!” Tiny Tots Toy Hirehosted a fun and jam-packed unisex Superhero (with a twist!) Combined birthday party which showcased their gorgeous new range of prop hire along with some amazing goodies by other party related businesses!

With the birthday kids being a four year old boy and two year old girl, the props used to theme and style the “Calling all Superheroes: Help Save the Milk Bar!” Birthday party were perfectly tailored for both sexes. Keeping with the Superhero theme, custom made Superhero Kits including a personalised cape, mask and Official Superhero certificate were provided for all the kids, with the babies getting their own custom made bibs! The custom made phone booth was the perfect prop for parents to snap away fun memories of their little superheroes. Make: Cup Flowers. These flowers are made entirely of clear and white plastic/paper cups!

Make: Cup Flowers

They are super easy to make. To inject some magic into any room or dinner party, make a dozen or so, drill holes in the center of each, and attach them to a short string of Christmas lights. T-Shirt Coloring Party. Super Dad! Styled Father's Day Luncheon. DIY Striped Neon Spoons « My so called crafty life. This weekend, I was at the store and happened upon a set of wooden spoons for under a dollar, and immediately knew I needed to take them home and paint them.

DIY Striped Neon Spoons « My so called crafty life

I love the dip painted spoons i’ve seen on Pinterest, and have been wanting to try a striped version myself. Even though I’m not big on trends, I picked up some neon paint just to try, and I have to say that I think the vivid colors give the spoons a tropical feel. These would be fantastic in solid stripes as well, or my favorite combination of red and aqua! These would make a great cheap hostess gift to take to your next barbecue or picnic, or could be great in a kitchen themed basket gift for a newlywed couple. Here’s what you need: *Wooden Spoons. After gathering supplies, we sort of winged-it and with the help of Kate’s Dad, we managed to fashion a sweet little hot air balloon for the kids to “ride in.” Washington D.C. Rocket Party! Pirate Party Bash! AHOY MATEYS!

Pirate Party Bash!

I have a total love of all things PIRATE. Hook + Peter Pan were my favorite movies growing up – for the pirates of course! I truly think boys + girls alike can have a blast at a pirate party! Throw in pops of pink + purple for the girls or go all out for the boys like Katie Cogbill of Kayden Ashley did for her two boys, Aidan and Kai! Both boys’ birthdays are within 3 days of each other, so Katie doubled the fun and threw a joint 4th and 2nd birthday pirate bash! Katie used classic pirate colors of red and black, with hints of aqua for the pirate ship invitations and carried the color scheme throughout the party.

Making sure to include lots of Kayden Ashley touches, Katie personalized water bottle labels, popcorn cones and appropriately-named food tags like “Captain Cogbill’s Catch O’ the Day” (Goldfish crackers)! Untitled-folder2.jpg 640×480 pixels. {free printables & tutorial} Cinco de Mayo Fiesta. FIESTA Printable includes: banner, tented cards, thank you favor tags, party circles/cupcake toppers, a yard sign and my favorite, the Spanish name tag! So because the name tags are my fave I thought I would do a quick tutorial. It's pretty basic and most of you won't need the lesson, but it was fun to do, nonetheless.

First, I printed out the name tags at home from my computer. Then I trimmed off the ends of the paper so the 3 inch circle cutter could be centered on the circles to cut. Then, I cut the tags out... ...and ran them through my sticker maker. After they have been stick-ti-fied they're ready to go. The stickiness of the machine really does a good job. Football Food - Super Bowl Food is here! Around the first grade my boy discovered football. After his first touchdown pass at the Y his head was filled with dreams of becoming a famous quarterback, and collecting football cards by the dozens became an all consuming obsession. Simply throwing the football with Daddy could go on for hours after Daddy's arm gave out, and the Super Bowl? Well, it became the pinnacle of life. Since throwing our first Super Bowl party some nine years ago, times have changed.

The first party found a couple of 6 year old boys dressed in their favorite jerseys embracing the game with their dads, and deeming the day "Our Day of Eating Junk Food".
