Die kleine Grundstücksfläche, die einzuhaltenden Abstandsflächen und der für sechs Menschen benötigte Wohnraum führten dazu, dass sich das Gebäude turmartig in die Höhe entwickelte. In seiner kompakten Kubatur und dem ausformulierten Dachkörper nimmt JustK Beziehungen zu den umliegenden grauen Tuffstein-Gebäuden aus den 1920er Jahren auf. Der Schwenk der walmdachartigen, mehrfach geknickten Dachform resultiert einerseits aus dem angestrebten maximal möglichen Raumvolumen sowie der minimal notwendigen Abstandsfläche. Aufgrund der bauphysikalischen Anforderungen an Passivhäuser, Überlegungen zur Nachhaltig- keit und der schnellen Bauzeit ist das Gebäude als Massivholzbau ausgeführt, der die Möglichkeiten der Vorfertigung intensiv nutzt.
