Our Vision: Empowered individuals and neighborhoods Our Mission: To promote and provide for Lee County’s diverse human service needs through progressive leadership and community partnerships. The Department of Human Services serves as a collaborative hub for resources (Federal, State, Local, Private, and Non-Profit) designated to aid economically disadvantaged individuals and families in our community. There are several program areas within Human Services, each tailored to address specific needs: Family Self-Sufficiency - Coordinates programs designed to assist individuals and families in need.

Housing Services - Offers a variety of affordable housing services designed to meet the needs of eligible, low-income households. Contracts- Purchases services from local not-for-profit agencies to address human service needs of Lee County residents. Care to VOLUNTEER? Abuse Counseling & Treatment.
