So after the service whist everyone was on their way down the hill to the reception the boy, Chloe and I escaped in my dads landrover to go and have a few pictures together.
I took Chloe to one of my favorite fields on the farm.. I have to say I was usless.. you can dress up the farm girl but you can't make her behave in any other way! I came back covered in mud and insisted on opening gates and stomping through the field. trash the dress springs to mind.! I was so nervous before the wedding about having my picture taken - I love taking them I hate being in them.. for some reason though I felt so relaxed and happy.. I don't know if this was the power of Chloe or Brides prerogative.. it was also lovely to have a little alone time with the boy.. I don't think we talked much - just giggled. also a big thank you has to go to my cousin Tessa - the flowers were just amazing and everything I wished for.. All photos by Chloe @ Caught the Light. Anna & Gareth chose the quintessentially timeless and chic venue of Claridges Hotel, London to celebrate their wedding just after Christmas, with their friends and family from around the world. Planned with the help of both her mother and planner Sarah, Anna’s wedding was an elegant black tie affair.
To make the most of the winter light, we did their portraits in the afternoon, and just about managed to get those balloons through the revolving doors without them popping (ok, one of two may have been lost!). Anna & Gareth surprised each other before the ceremony with thoughtfully chosen gifts, after which they did a private first look on the stairs of the hotel. Anna & Gareth have such a strong and loving bond, and it was an honour to bear witness to this, and to be able to document their day in the heartfelt, emotional and glamorous style that suited their celebrations.

Amazing! So, earlier today, I eluded to having had some fun this weekend :) I had a pretty stressful week last week, so come Saturday night, I was ready to let my hair down as guest at the very, very lovely and talented Photographer Emma Case's 30th birthday party - a 1950's high school prom themed affair, which turned out to actually be Emma's wedding!! Emma had secretly got married on the Saturday afternoon, to her lovely boy Pete and they had a blessing that evening, surrounded by unsuspecting friends and family.
