This material is so easy to use and so easy to make that I now use it exclusively for all my paper mache sculptures. The recipe has now gone “viral” and is being used by artists all over the world. It might be a bit more accurate to call this material “home-made air-dried cellulose-reinforced polymer clay,” but that’s way too hard to say (or type!) , so for now, let’s just call it paper mache clay. Je vous la retranscris en français pour les non anglophones avec le pot de yaourt (125g) comme unité de mesure (l'auteure du blog utilise une unité de mesure américaine) : Papier toilette classique double épaisseur. Mesurez la pulpe de papier humide, généralement cela remplit deux pots de yaourts de 125g à ras bord en tassant bien (attention à prendre un rouleau normal et pas un maxi...). Si le volume dépasse trop les deux pots de yaourts (en principe ça doit déborder juste un peu) il faudra en retirer.2 pots de yaourts d'enduit pour joints de plaques de plâtre ou enduit universel (les deux marchent très bien) vendu en magasin de bricolage. Dans le cas de moulage, bien regarder que le moule n’a aucune aspérité. Recouvrir ensuite le moule de papier film transparent ou de vaseline.
