http://fashionablygeek.com/ If you love the Pokemon trading card game, this cosplay option is probably much more comfortable than dressing up as a full size Pikachu. Not that I’ve ever dressed like either to know the difference. Anyways, Don Schwabs says the following about his creative and cool card costume: For last year’s work Xmas party, we were told to come dressed as one of the products we sell.

Observations of a Nerd

It's almost a given that, during any discussion about male infidelity, someone will throw out some variation of "men are biologically programmed to spread their seed." Why is there this theory that men are more driven to cheat? Part of it has to do with the size of their gametes. http://observationsofanerd.blogspot.com/

Though you see it cheaply plastered across postcards and knick-knacks, aloha is a very deep and meaningful word in Hawaiian. Its exact origin is somewhat up for debate, though etymologists have said it comes from alo , which means sharing or present, oha meaning joy or affection, and ha , meaning energy, life or breath. In Hawaiian, it means everything from hello and goodbye to love, affection, compassion, and to be fond of something or someone. Yes, this post is about goodbyes and hellos.
Most people know that anime has an uncanny ability to make just about anything cute. This is most apparent with female characters, where just about any girl can turned into a beauty once she’s animefied or mangafied. There are some other things that anime can make cute though, and the series airing this season make that more than obvious. Nyarlathotep, the Crawling Chaos Nyarlathotep is a deity from H.P. Lovecraft’s fictional universe, Cthulhu Mythos. It has thousands of different forms, but commonly appears as a tall man who resembles an Egyptian Pharaoh. http://www.forevergeek.com/

April Fool's Mischief Managed You may have noticed something odd about the site on Sunday, like some new things showing up on an unexpected schedule. Perhaps you emitted a tiny squeak of glee as you eagerly clicked "Buy Now."

http://www.geekologie.com/ What better way to celebrate Star Wars Day than with two girls having a bubblebath lightsaber battle? The video is some sort of Axe body spray parody, but for some reason features Chewbacca, lightsabers, two girls in white tank tops, water, and bubbles. I'm not complaining, I just think you should know what you're getting yourself into. Throw in some bacon and maybe a dinosaur wrestling a robot and we may have the video of the year.
