This morning . . . after sleeping on the little spiral buns Remove pins and let spirals un-twirl . .. .make sure they are fully dry …you can use a hair dryer a bit but it’s better to do it before unravelling buns. …I don’t mind a little frizzzzzzz … Use your fingers to separate waves …do not brush out. I made the top section a little larger/thicker so the curl wasn’t as tight which sort of lays over the rest. . . .The smaller sections and more twisted spiral buns you do all over your head, the curlier it turns out. Use a small barrel curling iron {in this fashion} on stray pieces. If you follow me on Instagram you already know about this because I shared it there see photos below but the other night I slept on twisted buns to get these BIG CURLS just to switch it up a little which the husband LOVES. In fact he said “You know, you could do that MORE OFTEN if you wanted to”. Big curls are a BIG hit around here In 2009 I did a quick video demonstrating how I twist my hair into the little buns whilst singing to Lady Gaga – but I only did a photo tutorial of how to get the finished look. So the other morning before I left for the gallery I filmed it for you and hopefully answered all the questions I’ve gotten about this easy little tutorial.

I used to do the traditional "braid your hair before bed" and rag curling tricks to get nice beachy waves, but they never ended up turning out right the next day. I didn't like the fact that the process took a whole night, and I had no way of knowing what my hair was going to look like when I pulled the braids/rags out.
